KATA Bags
Formed by two ex-military men from Israel, KATA creates various bags and accessories for professional photographers, journalists, and videographers. Their goal is to produce state-of-the-art, ergonomic bags that provide the most protection possible for equipment that is exposed to hazardous environments.
By rebranding and creating a new design system, the company now communicates better with their target audience. The yellow of the logo correlates with the yellow of the bag interiors that users have come to love over the years. The shape of the logo is reminiscent of both a camera shutter and plates of protective armor similar to an armadillo. The image of the company is a mix of professional, modern, trendy, rugged, technical, and dynamic.
